You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers' experience and contribute to our company's success.  Being on time and good attendance are essential for this role. 

    This position requires weekend and holiday work on a rotating schedule with other team members.  Hours are 8:30 to 5, 8:30 to 7pm on Saturdays.  This position is fully on site, with no remote work.  Employees can expect to work 40 hours a week, generally with days off during the week. 

    Daily Responsibilities:

    • Provide excellent customer service to the boat marina customers and clients

    • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner

    • Process payments accurately

    • Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations

    • Handle complaints and provide effective solutions

    • Open and close the Dockmaster's office

    • Communicate with internal team members

    Required Skills:

    • At least 2 years of experience with customer service in a face to face environment

    • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

    • Self-starter and motivated to be helpful and knowledgeable

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Money and payment handling skills

    • Data entry

    • Ability to work as a member of a team

    • Timeliness and good work ethic, being on time is essential for this role

    Nice to Have Skills:

    • Beginner to Intermediate QuickBooks experience

    • Customer Support and Payment Processing knowledge

    • Pulling, Resolution, and Complaint Resolution abilities

    Technical Skills:

    • Microsoft Office suite at an intermediate level

    • QuickBooks experience is preferred

    Salary and Benefits:

    Pay for this position starts at $18/hour with the opportunity for a pay increase after the first 30 days of successful employment.

    The Dry Stack Marina Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Marina’s dry stack facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and customer-focused handling of vessels, while managing staff, equipment, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The manager acts as the primary point of contact for boat owners, coordinates logistics, and drives operational excellence.

    This role works weekends and most holidays and is fully onsite in Coconut Grove.  Pay is DOE.

    Key Responsibilities
     

    Operations Management

    • Supervise daily dry stack operations, including launching, hauling, and storage of vessels.

    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts, travel lifts, and other marina equipment.

    • Develop and enforce operational procedures to maximize efficiency and safety.

    Customer Service

    • Serve as a liaison for boat owners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

    • Oversee scheduling of launches and retrievals to ensure timely service.

    • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

    Staff Leadership

    • Recruit, train, and supervise marina staff, including dockhands and equipment operators.

    • Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage.

    • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

    Safety & Compliance

    • Enforce OSHA, Coast Guard, and environmental regulations.

    • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.

    • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or related field.

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Knowledge of boating, marine equipment, and safety regulations.

    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

    • Ability to operate and oversee heavy equipment safely.

  • Description:

    Assist with the safe lifting, moving, and storage of boats. This role requires attention to detail and comfort operating equipment in a busy waterfront setting. Operators support daily boater needs and long-term storage, helping ensure efficiency and safety. Training is available for the right candidate.

    • Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn

    • Attention to detail in troubleshooting and repair
